Application Instructions
1. When you get home, remove the dressing and wash the area gently with your fingertips with Tattoo Zen's Foaming Soap and hot water.
2. Gently pat the area dry with paper towels.
3. Wash your new tattoo several times daily, and apply a light coat of Tattoo Zen's Ointment. Please apply for 3-4 days (until the tattoo starts to peel).
4. You may want to periodically wrap the area with saran (plastic) wrap. This seals in the moisture and avoids contamination. But also take it off periodically and let the area breathe.
5. You will notice after about 4 days, your tattoo will begin to peel like a sunburn. Do not pick at it! At this point, start applying Tattoo Zen's Soothing Lotion to keep it hydrated.
*Avoid soaking your tattoo in water for long periods of time, and avoid chlorinated water
*Avoid over-exposure to the sun, and wear sun block (especially in tanning beds if you must tan)
